Smoke gets in your...hair?!

Summer is the season for bonfires in my neck of the woods and they are so fun! But when it comes to wigs - human hair or synthetic - your piece is definitely going to hold the smell of smoke if you spend time by a fire. Bonfires, fire pits, etc. can be annoying in this way. I always make a mental note to refrain from washing my wig until AFTER a fire. Another note about heat sources... Heat lamps can ruin a synthetic wig so be careful to keep your distance. No one wants to melt their hair.
